Field Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced operator to join our team as the Field Operations Manager. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio but we will consider applicants that are in other areas. Some travel will be required.

SHARE Mobility contracts with companies and cities to provide transportation service. These programs help people get to jobs, education, and healthcare. We serve employees, seniors, individuals with disabilities and those who are always passengers. Our mission is to be the safest and most sustainable transportation service and the Field Ops Manager plays a key role in delivering our technology-enabled mobility service.  SHARE Mobility is expanding nationally, and this position will help us launch transportation services in new cities.  We are planning to expand to 100+ new markets over the next 3 years. This is a foundational position with our operations team. This position will contribute to the creation of a playbook for field operations and there will be opportunities for promotion within the company.  

 

The Field Operations Manager sources, qualifies, and manages our third-party operator program (3POs). These are private companies and public transit agencies that partner with us to serve the transportation needs of companies in their area.  3POs provide drivers, vehicles, and operations support for our customers. 

 

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

  • Find transportation operators based on our sales pipeline and be prepared to start new contracts within 14 days, anywhere in the US.
  • Qualify transportation operators with an application and evaluation process to determine their eligibility and capabilities. 
  • Manage contracts between SHARE Mobility and 3POs. Track and manage the profitability of accounts and ensure we are maximizing the revenue potential of our contracts by having sufficient vehicle capacity and reliable service. 
  • Monitor the operator’s service level agreement, provide coaching, and deliver regular performance reviews.
  • Convert 3POs into software customers and find ways to generate revenue by providing value-added services, like dispatching or customer service, to 3POs.
